Newsletters
The ILO/SAMAT newsletter has been set up to form a link between ILO specialists and social partners in the sub-region, to create a forum for the exchange of views and ideas and to inform the ILO's social partners of SAMAT's ongoing and forthcoming activities. It aims at establishing a forum for the discussion of key issues relating to the changing labour and employment scene in the Southern Africa sub-region.
Globalisation, regional integration and the continuing wave of economic and political liberalisation in the sub-region have thrown an exciting range of new challenges and opportunities for SAMAT's Constituents. The newsletter aims to track these developments, bringing important issues and debates to their attention and at the same time present SAMAT's own view.
